The service

Pikcup is a marketplace that connects customers with salons offering last-minute appointment openings at a discount. We facilitate bookings; we are not a salon and do not provide salon services ourselves.

How payment works

Pikcup charges you nothing. There is no booking fee and no platform fee , the price you see on a listing is the price you pay, and all of it goes to the salon.

Where a salon has set up online payment, that price is charged when you book, straight to the salon’s own account. Your card details go to Stripe, never to us, and the money is never held in a Pikcup balance on its way to the salon. Where a salon has not set that up, you pay them at your appointment as usual.

Payment & refunds

When a salon takes payment online, you pay the listed price at the time you book, and it goes directly to that salon. Pikcup takes no cut of it. Salons that have not set up online payment collect from you at the appointment instead.

Bookings paid online are non-refundable. These are last-minute openings sold at a discount precisely because the chair would otherwise go empty. A cancellation this close to the appointment cannot realistically be re-sold, so the salon keeps what you paid. Please only book a time you can make.

If the salon cancels or changes your appointment, contact them first , your payment went directly to their account, so they are the ones who can return it. If you cannot reach them, email us at support@trypikcup.com and we will help.

No-shows

If you do not show up for a confirmed appointment without cancelling, what you paid is not returned and the salon is not obligated to rebook you. Repeated no-shows may result in account suspension.

Your account

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You must be 18 or older to use Pikcup.

SMS consent

By providing your phone number, you consent to receive one-time verification codes from Pikcup via SMS. See our SMS Terms for full details, including how to opt out.

Provider relationships

Providers listed on Pikcup are independent businesses. Pikcup does not employ stylists or control service quality. Any disputes about the quality of services rendered should be directed to the provider. Pikcup is not liable for the acts or omissions of providers.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pikcup’s total liability for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid to Pikcup in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use of Pikcup after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
