Who we are

Pikcup is a last-minute salon appointment marketplace operating at pikcup.com. We connect customers with salons that have open slots. Questions? Email support@pikcup.com.

What we collect

  • Phone number — to verify your identity via SMS when you book. Not used for marketing.
  • Email address — for booking confirmation and account communications.
  • Payment information — processed by Stripe. We never store your card details; Stripe handles all payment data under their own privacy policy.
  • Booking history — services booked, salons visited, amounts paid. Used to personalize your experience and calculate loyalty tier.
  • Usage data — pages visited, clicks, device type. Used to improve the product.

How we use it

  • To verify your identity and process bookings
  • To send booking confirmations and reminders
  • To send one-time SMS verification codes (see SMS Terms)
  • To calculate and display your loyalty tier
  • To improve our platform and detect fraud

We do not sell your personal information. We do not send marketing SMS. We do not share your data with third parties except as needed to operate the service (see below).

Third-party services

  • Supabase — database and authentication infrastructure. Data is stored in US-based servers.
  • Stripe — payment processing. Card data goes directly to Stripe; we receive only a payment confirmation token.
  • Twilio — SMS delivery for phone verification. Your phone number is passed to Twilio solely to deliver your one-time code.
  • Vercel — hosting and edge infrastructure.

Data retention

We retain your account and booking data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion at any time by emailing support@pikcup.com. We will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g., financial records).

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. Contact support@pikcup.com.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to maintain your session. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the site. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
